Her Name Is Shaena Caviar on a plane to Hollywood Gotta write a song and it won’t take long and this song had better be good. Gotta write a song and it won’t take long. Her name is Shaena. Oh yeah, her name is Shaena. I don’t even know how to spell her name right (Shaena Shaena Caviar) Is it an “E” before and “A” or an “S” before an “H” Her name is Shaena The plane might be delayed but I only have to play this song for Shaena Oh yeah, her name is Shaena. What am I gonna do? I really am in a jam My head is like a zoo My guitar is in my hand Her name is Shaena. Oh yeah, her name is Shaena. Her name is Shaena What am I trying to prove? The plane arrives and I’ve got butterflies in my stomach Is this really true how far I really flew to see my Shaena Singing this song for Shaena. What am I gonna do? I really am in a jam My head is like a zoo My guitar is in my hand Her name is Shaena. Oh yeah, her name is Shaena. Her name is Shaena What am I trying to prove? Her name is Shaena What am I trying to prove?

Slave Blues 03:31
Slave Blues (January 1990) Scrubbing time hogwash yeah, the pigs will be squeaking clean x2 when the sundown train rushes through that ain't nothing I haven't seen Yeah, the steam engineer is just a shovelin' he's gonna get us to New Orleans. Won't take him too long to learn to watch them coal stones burn. he'll get his dollar worth of pennies and give just a nickel in return. Yeah well the story is neverending 'til the fat lady sings you know I get tired of giving all you people all my things. you put a bruise on my backbone and man does it ever sting.
3.
Man On The Street Let me tell you a story about a man on the street he didn't feel sorry because his clothes weren't clean he never talked to strangers and kept his eyes on the ground he was aware of any danger and he kept what he found. (chorus) When the sun didn't shine he was in his room when he seemed out of place he played a tune and when the man felt down he played the blues oh yeah He got what he wanted and he wondered what he got when the food was rotten he made sure he threw it out when he bought something he said, "keep the change". and he worked for nothing or low wage. (chorus) When he saw a thief he knocked him on the chin and he brought him to the chief and the reward was his he wasn't no old cheat but he sure was mean he was a man on the street and his clothes weren't clean. (chorus)
4.
Forever Crooked Road Wake up in the night clouds in your eyes and every sullen man seems old and wasted now and then we all get that urge to try but you mustn't take the chance and then you waste it So there you are sitting in the dark and your looking at a wall whose paint has faded so you feel tears welling up in you but you're too old to cry and you're looking for some reason to get excited. (chorus) And the sun will appear when you're searching for some warmth while you're living in a fear that you'll break before the dawn. Look up at the sky at the pouring rain and there's nothing left to do except try to face it once you've realised your longing pain to get every wish fulfilled that you've awaited So walk on slow down the forever crooked road it's just to show where you've been headed don't shy away once you've reached your goals because people will kiss the ground on which you've treaded. (chorus)
5.
Hoodoo County I was searching for a woman in the summer of love too bad the ladies were hard to find It was during that summer was approaching me that we spoke for a while and she gazed into my mind It's like swimming in a river being pushed upstream strange looking visions painted in your mind easy living ain't what it seems to be when I'm hanging around with the other kind. (chorus) It's been a long day in hoodoo county it's been a short night in voodoo calm how can I persuade for you to join me, yeah? Under the moonlit calm? A miracle is going to catch up to me if it comes any closer just chase it away while I'm waiting for a change in the scenery I'm going to save my conscience for another day. (chorus) You can pick up your remains and leave me be Because I find it hard to stare in your eyes or we can wait a bit but still feel free now I know how it feels when the sparrow flies and I know how it feels when the sparrow cries and I know how it feels when the sparrow dies.

Here Comes The Storm I'm lost in the dark and the moon is too dim seems just like another night to be waiting for the dawn I'm alone in a death ridden world it's sheer confusion I long to stay and wait out for the dawn (chorus) But it can not wait for me I'm overcome with the glare and I look towards the horizon - it's rising and it can not wait for me and I cry out in despair I look towards the horizon - it's rising behind them clouds - here comes the storm. I've fallen asleep - but all the darkness remains silence cuts so deep but it never hurts to try to dull the blades to just stay a while and wait to overcome my fate and wait here for the dawn. (chorus) My secrets are safe because I keep them all in mind I don't just let them out and tell them to this world simply because it's just me and the ground that's so cold it's just my patience standing there all alone it's just my life being discarded in a hole. (chorus)
8.
Kari's Gonna Tell Your Mama Well I thought nothing would happen I've got nothing to say I'm looking for some answers to a problem I had yesterday (chorus) Well It's you and it's true Kari's gonna tell your mama x3 and I'm in enough trouble anyway/and I don't even get my say. Oh yeah - should I apologize? you know how I feel when I look into your eyes (chorus) So if I did something that I wouldn't do I know I'd have to pay the price you despise everything that I do and I wouldn't do it twice. (chorus)
9.
Walk On Me 02:53
Walk On Me I saw my ex-love yesterday morning but you should have seen her last night I saw she lost her conscience and told her guilt to take a ride she's been telling everybody that her man is good as gone. Well I say she got the whole world laughing but she just about made me cry x2 I guess they were all kidding me I guess they were looking for a fight. But now if some people want to walk on me I'll have to shine their shoes for them because they have their girl right by their side I'll have to shine their shoes for them. Well they have their girl right by their side and my lonely future is looking grim.

Gardeners' Brook Later last night I jumped into a gardeners' brook my feet were aching from the fire I had just declared that I was much too tired to look while everyone else around me wasn't tired They stared into the distance as the boats were coming in and the stars were dimming from the coming dawn they saw all but chaos as the rays were calmly beating and they left for they had many clothes to pawn Later tonight I'll jump into a gardeners' brook and watch the others scan the sky and if I do declare that them others are bound to be crooks please let somebody be my guide Yonder on highway 10 I'll be walking in a storm I'll be pierced by the rain I'll be pierced by the thorns since my baby left I've been all alone but I need her sometimes to ease my lonely mind. Later last night I jumped into a gardeners' brook my feet were aching from the fire Later last night I jumped into a gardeners' brook my feet were aching from the fire Later last night I jumped into a gardeners' brook my feet were aching from the fire

In The Real World Sometimes it's like my every flame is drowning in an ocean of darkness an ocean of existence alone I stand conquered in the shades of yesterday. My eyes have seen memories my eyes have seen too much of too many lovers making the least out of love in the real world it seems love is just a dream anyway. (chorus) Oh I've been hunting to shine in the real world when the world is to real we've got to learn to reveal where we hide. x2 There's many tongues a tolling preaching out of turn among the estranged the cool and the burnt but desperation finds no answers no matter what we say I know that someday I'll awake to face the streets of confusion all barren and grey because the millions of lives will be finding their ways in the real world (chorus)
12.
Pale Afternoon Dark feelings in his heart dark feelings in his soul He's only living in his past but he's living all alone like a girl without a rose and a man without a fear he has taken many blows and has shed many a tear Although he feels that he's been torn between his life and his past to dwell he's had many a lesson to learn and many a story to tell. Although she may have gone away it's like her echo never fades he will get over her soon on a pale afternoon beneath a stony mountain limb cries a man without a clue for now he's run out of trust with everybody's point of view
13.
Clearwater Park A blind man feels and a deaf man sees and a poor man praying for his meal prays alone his hands in his pockets his world full of wreck and now he's walking away from the life that he now knows and he's going to escape and run downtown to clearwater park from there (chorus) Oh Clearwater Park is waiting for me I'm tired of thinking there's nowhere to be At Clearwater Park there's something to see it's an oasis of space in the desert of the concrete juncle The park wind breathes with the essence of comfort there ain't no one around playing tricks with his soul his love for the place is like his love for fantasy it's taking him away from the life he now knows and he's going to escape and run downtown to Clearwater Park from there (chorus)

This Life Is For Me When I left home I was kind of scared scared I wouldn't find my way out there Oh yeah Daddy told me, "take life one step at a time. Don't rush in your might lose your mind and you better take care now." I know what I want I want it all I need an offer to take and a number to call until then Well, this life is for me, yeah! (chorus) Ah - this life is for me, yeah! Ah - this life is for me, yeah! Right! Get a big job and run high on luck make a few deals make a quick buck yeah and do it all over again find a few friends and maybe a wife take the shoes out dancing on a Saturday night yeah Well this life is for me (chorus) Daydream of how it used to be homecooked meals and living for free just do what you want all the time you might get silly might lose your mind. When I left home I was kind of scared scared that I wouldn't find my way out there Well this life is for me, yeah Well this life is for me, yeah This life is for me, yeah This life is for me, yeah

Stop At Nothing I'm getting tired of dragging you home all the time getting sick and tired of dragging you home all the time but I would stop at nothing to be a slave to your kind but I would stop at nothing 'til there ain't nothing left to stop at at all. Tired of asking for any love I can't afford there ain't a penny in my pocket and I've taken what's left of yours but I would stop at nothing to keep myself from getting poor but I would stop at nothing 'til there ain't nothing left to stop at at all. Getting tired of getting tired so tired I just can't keep awake getting tired of watching you love people who don't even know your name but if I'd quit getting tired I'd stop at nothing to face to shame if I'd quit getting tired I'd stop at nothing to fall asleep.

Never Never Land Clouds blowing from the sun tomorrow laughs today cherish the freedom from the well of salvation in the 20th century in the 20th century in the 20th century. My imaginary friends will live among us wiping their feet down the dead dark street searching for us like blind horses for someone we can't meet for someone we can't meet. (chorus) And you'll find there is no one to blame in never never land x2 There's few losses left to win even heaven can't see my tears childhood laughters and adult disasters you can pawn a joke for a fear you can pawn a joke for a fear. (chorus x 2)

Girl With A Complex You look so cute in your birthday suit don't cost much to look so cute, hey? Hey hey You take three hours just to comb your hair and you look just fine when you get up out of the bed. you keep saying you look so down and out you seem to know what it's all about. (chorus) Are you afraid of being afraid? You're doing pretty good for a girl with a complex keep it up, baby! I take you out for some brand new duds and you spend half your time disatisfied in the change room stall and that's not all. The mirror is your constant companion because you know it's not very demanding of you and it's true. you keep saying you look so down and out you seem to know what it's all about. (chorus) But you know I could be wrong But you know I could be wrong. (chorus)
22.
Walking The Floor That season is over now the season of shedding tears in snow I've fallen into patterns and I feel I will never go on I've been walking along the floor here half the night or more nothing left to lose or do just playing my personal war playing my personal war (chorus) You may be losing your mind but not as quickly as I you may be losing your mind because there's nothing left to find and nothing left to hide like I. The votes were counted too fast your friends said I was a loser and you retraced your tracks realised how young you were I've been walking along the floor it crossed my mind like a foot on a bridge what the hell is wrong with me? is there no one I can be with? (chorus)
23.
Big Boots 02:24
Big Boots It's getting mighty mighty hard to get your big boots filled baby x2 could you do me a favor? put on your boots for me again? I don't usually beg for more but since you took off in that big old car of ours it's getting mighty mighty hard to get your big boots filled baby I'm begging you back so your boots won't need be filled no more. Your boots are still empty and they're sitting on my rug x2 Ain't no one gonna stand in your shoes 'cause I'm a mighty fussy judge.
24.
Goodbye To You Everytime I see your picture I fall into my head Can't help but think Can't help but think Can't help but think of how it came and went (chorus) And I really thought I knew you and I think I thought you knew me too and if I heard your point of view I could say goodbye to you but I can't let go. I can't say goodbye to you now it's what I'd call a waste of time to try well I can't stay well I can't stay well I can't stay because I want to cry (chorus) You've thrown away all your tomorrows and that's the way it's going to stay and I can bet I won't forget not to hurt the ones I need today. (chorus) I can't let go I can't let go I can't let go.
