Bobby Stahr 02:33
Bobby Stahr He's been living out on Agnes street for many many years picking on his old guitar his songs of smiles and tears he plays the sweetest jazz songs and we know who you are Bobby Stahr He stayed right where he's been and we're all glad he comes around regardless of the money road that others may have gone down he'll bike around this city and he never drives a car Bobby Stahr He had brushes with the fame machine and friends all love his songs he spends his time and energy on how well he gets along he'll order strong black coffee from the corner of the bar Bobby Stahr Time goes by like strangers on a road that's far too fast Bobby took care of his mother out at home until she passed We'll take care of anyone who's taken us this far Bobby Stahr Some people teach us nothing they're on the gravy train Bobby's full of wisdom and he'd dance out in the rain There's something you could teach us no matter who we are Bobby Stahr. He's been living out on Agnes street for many many years picking on his old guitar his songs of smiles and tears he plays the sweetest jazz songs and we know who you are Bobby Stahr

Riding My Bike Down Birds Hill Trail (Chorus) I’m riding my bike down the birds hill trail and there ain’t a care for me Unless I run into some bear and lose control and meet a tree There ain’t no money or drama here just the wind in my hair and the leaves the poplar trees and the cedar bog and the sage I burn for peace (Chorus) There’s a red wing blackbird chirping and I’m whistling with the chickadee there’s a sweet young lady on my mind but she hasn’t time to comfort me (Chorus) Someday this bliss will all be mine reckon when that will be I’ll be a lucky man on this sweet pure earth no darkness surrounding me (chorus) I can feel music in the wind and the leaves applauding me there’s a feel good feeling in my soul and it colours everything I see (Chorus) We all find love from time to time love’s sweet energy all we gotta do is appreciate everything we come to see (chorus)

I'm In Love 02:43
I'm In Love Riding down an ocean trail me and my baby setting sail hear the sound of our hearts beating I'm in love There's songs in the wind and there's smiles in your eyes I keep looking for the dawning I'm in love Driving down to Pebble Beach then up the mountain out of reach Hearing the songs the echoes teach I'm in love Well the men in control have nothing on my soul We're rolling through the cold and I'm in love If I must fight I know I will ain't no prescription they can't fill I'll be running up a hill I'm in love Kayaking on the ocean Hiking through the old growth holding hands with understanding I'm in love Driving down to Pebble Beach then up a mountain out of reach Hearing the songs the echoes teach I'm in love She's been there to fight with me Only passions we have seen Such an honor to be free I'm in love Driving down to Pebble Beach then up a mountain out of reach Hearing the songs the echoes teach I'm in love The men in control have nothing on our souls we're rolling through the cold I'm in love

The Songs Of October The music of her eyes it filled up the skies in the dear late songs of october she felt no one's cry and tomorrow was gone from her cares her worries cold sober it'd had been many a night of many a year she reeled in the soft spoken stupor while the world raged on and she danced on the edge of the cliffs of the souls of october another heart broken alone and she'd lay while her best friends they found and ignored her how many years she would so often say must come between i and cold shoulders? for so long she went back to her room alone while the raindrops played songs in the dreary why must I face my tomorrows alone when there's really nothing here wrong with me? then came a child with a heart broken wide on the end of the street where the lost hit their stride he asked her to dance til the state of her pride was shaken from such firm foundations she asked why is it you who asks me to dance while the songs of october all over is it true that blank stares might come to find me while the demons of disgust do hover? he gave her one kiss and he beckoned to dance and he shattered the silence around them soon she would swoon and move with the wind and began a new life with slate empty the music of her eyes it filled up the skies in the dear late songs of october she felt no one's cry and tomorrow was gone from her cares her worries cold sober.

Every Day Is A Teacher Why do we get troubled when times are going bad? When we've learned so much before with all the bad times we had When people seem downhearted they're usually doing fine It's a chance to get attention whiners do it all the time. (Chorus) Every day is a teacher it ain't what you feel It's only how you're living and only how you deal An outcome doesn't matter it ain't a means to an end If your ego takes a backseat you might even keep a friend People shouting crying over lives they can't control Accusations swirling like some old whore on a pole Time to get on moving there's no future in the past Crying over pride and whoever's word is last (Chorus) Time to pay it forward all these lessons you'll soon learn Nobody's waiting because you took too long a turn We're all moving on here there's a sweet new home uptown Where there'll be restraining orders should you come around (Chorus) Best to keep her unchained feet now firmly in the ground She's bound to be a reeling from all your stories spreading around Addicted to your drama because it was a way of life any chance to get attention whiners do it all the time. (Chorus)
6.
You Make My Day Well you made my day That's all I have to say Yeah you made my day But that's all I wanna say Well you know I wanna dance Eh you know I wanna play Well you know you made my day every single time you say oh baby, make my day every time you say that you miss me too well you make my day yeah When you're smiling yeah you make my day yeah when you play with your hair yeah you make my day when you open up to me sure enough you make my day When you tell me a story about you running around town when you tell me your glory a new tune that you found when you're out for tea baby you know you made my day When you ain't at home crying when you ain't at home dying when you out on the street baby yeah when you're out in the heat baby yeah you make my day sure enough you make my day Well I'm so glad I'm your friend and I know that just won't end Well I'm so glad I'm your friend and I know that sure ain't gonna end because you're the real deal baby a lifer to the end Sure enough you make my day sure enough you make my day whoa oh no you make my day when you're walking with me and you're smiling with me yeah.

Mojo Chains 03:19
Mojo Chains There's silence in the morning winter blankets me lays it's sweet caress across the poplar trees the earthly smell of sweet grass and wood smoke fills my nose Lay down my restless spirit to rest my weary bones These four walls they're all that I need my refuge from this rat race and all the greed frozen ground around me sends shivers to my skin some private piece of heaven that I will be laying in (chorus) no boss man no keeping time won't you free me from these mojo chains for a while? No net here to haunt me or to keep me prison bound This concrete jungle shall no more me surround Spinning my wheels in the city life gets to keeping me down well I want no more running chasing opportunity down (Chorus x2)

I Have Been Waiting So Long Been blasting away here and I have been waiting so long Waiting for someone to come here and take me home I've been strumming on the same old song I know I ain't playing it wrong I Been blasting away here and I have been waiting so long Been watching everyone else but me get a break in this town They just started working and Lady Luck is tracking them down I'll just keep on doing my thing Wait for the dead phone to ring Been watching everyone else but me get a break in this town Something save me from wasting any more of my life I've got passions that scare me and my rep has been under the knife It's easy to knock someone down when they never are hanging around Something save me from wasting any more of my life Giving up on dreaming time to take back some control Ain't putting up walls I'm just getting these old rocks to roll What I got brewing is better than what I got stewing Got some big fish to fry and it's time to get out on my own I'm a one man plan I got songs to last past the end of times There's nothing to stop me from going past the end of the line I know there's a protocol but I won't live my days so small I'm a one man plan I got songs to last past the end of times Been blasting away here and I have been waiting so long Waiting for someone to come here and take me home I've been strumming on the same old song I know I ain't playing it wrong I Been blasting away here and I have been waiting so long

The Guessing Game Is The Name Of The Game You want to know ahead of time where you'll be sailing now you don't want to waste your time rotting away in some hole frustrating now you want a new design new love new highlights to be thankful for this road has got you down but people don't seem to care they've closed the door You're tired of hanging on too many toys and past pain weighing you down 15 years is here and here you are old news in a frozen town but you've got a lot to give a lot of hearts to touch and hands to hold so what you doing here? It's time to stoke the fire let the flame unfold (Chorus) You get restless everyday you don't hear nothing no fool says it's either a standstill or it's a guessing game but a guessing game's is the only game that makes a name Watch others holding on to roots you're not able to have hold you down love and laughter family friends and things they stay in town really you got nothing not even a call to send you on your day if you died would they even know Sideshow Sam has gone away. (Chorus)

Where I Long To Stay I wish you were mine Forever again The past says "hello Where have you been?" Take me back to when tomorrow was yesterday Because a future with your love Is where I long to stay. No sorrow too deep Could drive us apart No joy too sweet Could stop this heart No matter the story Our love will find a way Because a future with your love Is where I long to stay Don't let anything Stand in our way Because a future with your love Is where I long to stay

All The Joy Love Can Make The storm clouds are raging and the enemy takes a stand he's holding his right hand up to defend his land and the war men will profit as the casualties die while there's no hope for future in wondering why must we burn to the ground love that let us down worlds we never chose and the books we never close why must we not cherish the light in the sky rather than yours or mine or the dream that has died (chorus) - all perception is misperception only love is real whatever hurts we must learn to see before we feel salvation is knowing the path we must take to bring peace to others all the joy love can make all the joy love an make So we watch as forces out of our control gain their money by killing the very heart of our soul and we still create magic and we still create art give without receiving as we've done from the start and in the end there's no laughter in the eyes of the blind who parade through the wasteland sowing seeds of the crime we vote with our conscience our dollars and time but nobody's to blame once the papers have been signed (chorus)

A Dollar Ain't Worth A Dime Seems there's a commodity They pack and sell what they should give for free A dollar ain't worth a dime I sell my soul and live alone in this little black hole A dollar ain't worth a dime I take you out to eat if the buffet just can't be beat A dollar ain't worth a dime I'll fill the tank and my muffler shoots blanks A dollar ain't worth a dime (Chorus) You make me wonder all of the time I've got a dollar to give you but the dollar ain't mine I want to pay you but the deal is a crime When a dollar ain't worth a dime I go out to a rock start show with 4000 people I'll never know A dollar ain't worth a dime We all like the same band We can no longer understand A dollar ain't worth a dime I go to the movie show I got money and I got time to blow A dollar ain't worth a dime The popcorn's made of gold like the soda pop they sold A dollar ain't worth a dime Chorus I go to buy a souvenir while a homeless family hovers near A dollar ain't worth a dime I bear my soul while they dance to some riff they stole A dollar ain't worth a dime everyone goes to work everyday traffic jam each and every way A dollar ain't worth a dime for an unfurnished mansion for two without relatives to block the view A dollar ain't worth a dime chorus
