The Mists Of Down Below Wild wind, take me home to the mists of down below. I'll be flying come September day. With no borders in my way, you'll find me home until the May sun burns the heavy mists of down below. (Chorus) I see the rivers flooding strong and people wishing they belonged Free for anywhere they want to go. When they pray they can look to the sky and they'll see me as I pass by heading for the mists of down below. Without fields ripe from rain there ain't no way to feed my pain dreaming of the mists of down below. Down below is not my fate, there is no land from where I came not even mists of old Mexico. (Chorus) So I looked hard at reasons for the dreamers blowing door to door dreaming of the mists of down below. I'm sure they'd go anywhere they could if wings became their neighbourhoods and there would be nowhere they wouldn't know. (Chorus)

It’s Good That I Don’t Sing The Blues I ain’t nobody’s hero I’m a ghost among the poor I gamble all I steal and I lose a little more I don’t think much of tomorrow or who’s gonna fill my shoes It’s good that I don’t sing the blues cause I know that’s all I’d do It’s good that I don’t sing the blues cause I know that’s all I’d do A waitress I met in some bar a long long time ago said she was gonna quit her dime a day job and get married on the road but she said when she found some other man “I never said I’d marry you” It’s good that I don’t sing the blues cause I know that’s all I’d do It’s good that I don’t sing the blues cause I know that’s all I’d do Maybe it’s time to settle down but I ain’t got any cash and to gamble now would mean to try to pawn clothes right off my back I might drift on back to New Orleans and get myself a new tattoo It’s good that I don’t sing the blues cause I know that’s all I’d do It’s good that I don’t sing the blues cause I know that’s all I’d do
3.
Blood Ran Cold (chorus) Well my blood ran cold well my blood ran cold you found somebody new to hold and my blood ran cold. You were wined and dined while I was gone he did everything right that I did wrong I guess by the looks of things you had a mighty good time I came home to your messed up bed empty champagne bottles with notes that read words I'd wished I'd said when you were mine. (chorus) It took him two days to end two years with a champagne bottle souvenir and a starry night when the wind was singing low well, you broke my heart but I tried my best I guess his pockets passed the test and love don't make a difference anymore. (chorus) Well he's got you driving me up the wall and baby, you're in the doghouse now and there ain't a chain that I could afford when you're always on the prowl. Daddy told me love's a game you pay to play you can't date a girl with a TV tray I tell you, baby, all my love is free you used to say that our love was pure and kissing me used to be a cure so why did you have to Elizabeth Taylor me? (chorus x2)
4.
You're Already On Your Way (Chorus) Tired of low down worry Baby, you broke my heart today I don't have to tell you where to go When you're already on your way Don't you keep a crying I've had too much of that song I'm looking to give you comfort Can't we just get along? Chorus Can't take you out of trouble You're out to make me blue When you don't do what you're telling there's no telling what you'll do (Chorus)
5.
That Dress You Wore I wondered what it was I liked about you it was that dress you wore I wondered what it was I liked about you it was that dress of yours You might think it was your hair or your eyes but you want me to tell you, babe and I don't like I'll tell you what it was I liked about you it was that dress you wore You might know me as the friend who never leaves Follows you around like a crazy ghost and listens when you breathe You might think I think that you don't mind but I can tell by the frown on your face anytime I wondered what it was I liked about you so I never leave (Bridge) So what do you think about it? I ain't here to play the evil man. So beautiful and so perfect I'm just trying to do the best I can I wondered what it was I liked about you it was that dress you wore I wondered what it was I liked about you it was that dress of yours You might think it was your hair or your eyes but you want me to tell you, babe and I don't like I'll tell you what it was I liked about you it was that dress you wore

Who Is Gonna Treat Me This Way? Can't stop this world turning Too much here to leave Who is gonna treat me this way? You got some place to go but your heart stays here with me Who is gonna treat me this way? Never wanted anybody didn't care for guessing games There ain't nowhere to be going when I don't know the way You say you want a lover so for that you'll have to pay Who is gonna treat me this way? Who is gonna treat me this way? You don't share your feelings and deep inside you dream Who is gonna treat me this way? I wonder where's the monkey you want to make of me? Who is gonna treat me this way? You ain't got stepping stones here you ain't got no name you ain't got no warbler who's gonna sing you to your grave You ain't got no survivor of the dream he's bound to save Who is gonna treat me this way? Who is gonna treat me this way? You don't listen to nobody who tells you what to think Who is gonna treat me this way? You don't care to leave somebody whose heart is on the brink Who is gonna treat me this way? You want a good companion to take you all the way you won't believe in distances when there's little left to say and be running down your freedom like a battleship in your bay Who is gonna treat me this way? Who is gonna treat me this way?

Rock N'Roll Like Crazy Setting sail and I'm aching from all of the crimes that I'm taking can't be alone much longer I used to be so much stronger Where I'm going I don't know not even here in the shadows When do I stop this old train I have to switch before I go insane (Chorus) Come on over now baby Won't you take me for a ride? Rock N'Roll like crazy I've been dying inside There's still places I ain't been to To my own self I haven't been true People don't know where I'm going If I'm going I hope it's showing Life is a one time thing, man Show me the edges again I'd love to go down there But I don't know if anyone will be there (Chorus) Setting sail and I'm aching from all of the crimes that I'm taking can't be alone much longer I used to be so much stronger Where I'm going I don't know not even here in the shadows When do I stop this old train I have to switch before I go insane

Resurrection Song I've been so far away waiting for a resurrection song I never meant to leave you there thinking I'd just vanished in the air The fever dismantled all my energy I never thought that it would get the best from me I've been so far away In my mind just trying to find the key to keep the muse clarified bring her out and let her speak to me I can't grieve quieter than she said to me You are not here to get the best of me She's been so far away Thinking of what she had and lost She gives icy smiles in return for fear that she got Take me away from my old enemy Let her leave and take with her the best of me

Jubilee 03:07
Jubilee Top of the class but he failed to give a damn about the world. He had no friends or laughter to share or the love of a girl. He just played and sang and ran from pain and strife. He tried his best to live only the good side of life. He came to realise good stories have ends. It was then he felt the pain of never being a friend. He just rode by day to a place he took his money from. And at night he played and sang and felt the heartbeat of a drum. For years he lived alone and he never grew up well. He stayed the same for so long that he could never tell. No one around him to warn him to read between the lines. It was too late to cry or try to follow the old signs. Top of the class but he failed to give a damn about the world.

Rain Dreams 04:18
Rain Dreams (Chorus) Rain dreams keep me sleeping in late Rain dreams keep my head from thinking straight Rain dreams got you on my mind Come on pretty mama won't you help me unwind? Look at the happy people spinning around They walking in circles selling their hearts by the pound And their laughter is the only sound that sticks in my head when they are spinning While I see just what I'm doing down there Captain, Captain do they even care? Waste my days hungry and I don't dare change there's no banjo playing my home on the range Chorus All the saints keep me guessing where they're going next Maybe it's outside for talk and cigarettes while I sit here with my lonely doom Counting my breaths in this empty gloom Ain't no telling why I'll join the fun Some folks are masters at beating out the sun And I need a shiny day to keep up my chin Pull up my socks and let the sunshine in (Chorus) If you leave because you ain't had no fun look for the bloodprints where I'll be leaving a ton Shunned and left down on the highway side take a little bit time for me to die Watch the steel boats sinking in the sea the captains fighting while the rest swim free planes landing without wings in denial oceans rising just because now it's in style (Chorus)

Can't You See She's Falling In Love? Excuse me baby, can't you see she's falling in love? Better go away, can't you see she's falling in love? She can promise you heartbreak along with the stars above Well your heart is aching whenever your eyes are closed Your heart is aching whenever your eyes are closed They sure don't make the people the way they did before You can't count on nobody and you'll never be satisfied You can't count on nobody no better being satisfied ain't nobody called you back on the day you died If you can't feel right leaving your baby alone and you can't feel right leaving your baby alone Inside she's got you crying she's always drunk and stoned Stay away from me can't you see I'm falling in love. Stay away baby can't you see I'm falling in love Well my heart is breaking because I fear that she don't care enough.
