No Stranger To Pain You're so broke your wallets for sale your mama's saying you looking pretty pale well you're hearts for sale you're no stranger to pain but you're trying to be One man's meat is another man's retreat nothing like starving to keep you on the edge of your seat well you're hearts for sale you're no stranger to pain but you're trying to be (Chorus) Put the banjo on rock n' roll say you're gay or save your soul or buff up live up to magazines stoke your fire with gasoline wear the clothes the rubbies hate turn your body into bait your story can go on and on and on in your sell out song Take a look out to the parachute skies turns out the ground must be the elusive prize well you're hearts for sale you're no stranger to pain but you're trying to be There's always nothing better than the way things were until they change the rules we'll be losing our shirts well you're hearts for sale you're no stranger to pain but you're trying to be (Chorus) They've been burning ripping and stealing what's on your mind they try to keep you down control by design you're hearts for sale you're no stranger to pain but you're trying to be As long as we accept the fate everything will be just fine There's always no hope because the greed is so unkind well you're hearts for sale you're no stranger to pain but you're trying to be (Chorusx2)

Oh Honey, What's Wrong? If I were a genius man I'd pick up on trouble as fast as you can you're my girl and I don't know your face sometimes. Give me a reason to be upset like you I need a reason to sing the blues what's wrong? Oh honey, what's wrong? (chorus) I've been looking in the rain for some heat I've been looking in the gravy for some meat All I know is you got me beat you're a hot meat platter steaming mad at me. Your politics are killing me I can't shadow box or pretend to be so concerned when I'm blinded by my love Because my love don't carry no pain I try to be funny when there's nothing to say what's wrong? Oh honey, what's wrong? (chorus) If I were a genius man I'd pick up on trouble as fast as you can you're my girl and I don't know your face sometimes. Sorry that I'm not a man of respect after being the loner it's hard to give a shit but I'll grow oh I'll grow. (chorus)

The Mirror Of His Eyes This is a squeaky broke down throne with no knock on the door when it's calm and they've got the rain coming in from miles offshore he's sitting here in his castle looking down on his poor with the sad empty feeling knowing they can't take him there no more (Chorus) Sometimes he's under the weather and then sometimes he'll realize there's a hint of distress in the mirror of his eyes there's an edge of some memory a chain of events he has caused and in the shrill bite of conscience the esteem he has lost oh the esteem he has lost He'll sit there and he'll wonder in his silence alone is he here without laughter like a skin without a bone? is this because of all those he's jilted those let down souls he won't feel or are even the saints left with wounds like this they must heal? (Chorus)
6.
Anyone You Love He gives you the eye he's got something on you sort of like the way that I do too Anyone can love you you can never get burned some of us are hoping you will love us in return (chorus) 'Cause you can take from the helpless 'cause you can take from guys like me you can break any good man heartless but anyone you love is gonna love you less than me. When you saw me I could stare you down I didn't shrink and I didn't turn around but before I'll be setting my heart on you I'll be taking my time and taking yours too. (chorus)

Do I Know? 03:13
Do I Know? Do I know what I would do if you slipped away tomorrow? Find my way somehow back home where the fields would fill with sorrow fall from grace so gracefully and your memory path I'd follow this broken voice will not give up or turn so soft or hollow Do I know what I would do if you waited there to find me? You'd see me deep in love divine no way time would unwind me The clock would tick the minutes down until past fell behind me and in your arms I'd be again and no sad paths to bind me Do I know what I would do if someone took your hand? Remain your friend and confidant your loneliness I'd understand I'd hold you somehow everyday and have you in my band I'd dance with you in afternoons and recall journeys we had planned Do I know what I would do if you slipped away tomorrow? Find my way somehow back home where the fields would fill with sorrow fall from grace so gracefully and your memory path I'd follow this broken voice will not give up or turn so soft or hollow

A Broken Goodbye There's a road stretched out from the crossroads I've gained and lost. There's a backroad to get back to the past despite the cost. She's worried about me leaving behind the future of bad and good times and I'm lost and waving in the wind of a broken goodbye. She's been sold on my heart even though it's been jaded. And the romance that has bloomed between us has been stranded and faded. She knows my business for sure and I can't say I'm glad as it were but I'm loading the gun of my dreams and a broken goodbye. As I walk past the gifts time stole from the future and I can't see old friends quite the same way. There's things I can't blame on her style that I just can't blame on her smile and she's changing just like the seasons I can't hide away. There's a child in the man who is gone and now can not cry. There's an old man who looks down at the people through the walls of time and he sees a man in transition looking with the lost broken vision and he can't make out the shoulder of the road or the lines. As I walk past the gifts time stole from the future and I can't see old friends quite the same way. There's things I can't blame on her style that I just can't blame on her smile and she's changing just like the seasons I can't hide away.

Moving So Fast You met my heaven in a dream we dream together so you see what it means you hold my hands we kiss the stars until the paths behind us grow dark (chorus) We're moving so fast since your heart made a change from the past falling in love with the dreams you've been dreaming of. When we're dancing on the sands your blue eyes drifting towards heaven's lonely lands drift towards heaven everyday we can hear the highway. (chorus x2)
10.
Watch Your Back The mood man broke in a tailspin and he fired his mind at the world he stumbled his way into the clearing with a hostage under his arm torchlight fell upon his mean grin there was nothing you could do or say to bring famine down upon him to help the hostage escape (chorus) Stoned hiders cocaine riders walking around this earth what could they do? watch your back they might come after you my friend. He surrendered to the poisons which broke his family apart he spoke at length of devils and hardships of his heart love was just some guessing game he never even bothered to play his anger fell down upon him and he wanted to get his say. (chorus) Chief brought along a cure Texas hot summer night he fired his gun at the stranger and the bullet won the shortest fight police made a mile of a molehill there was nothing left to do or say maybe the stranger is dead because the devil got his way. (chorus x 2)
