The Soundmaker We're all here to stay forever We're the soundmakers I'm a soundmaker I walked a 1000 miles to be imprisoned again I'm the soundmaker I'm the soundmaker Walk a mile for a heart to serenade No friend of mine will ever turn away a soundmaker. Some are willing to gamble to win a boy or girl I'm a soundmaker I'm the soundmaker I'm on a journey to the end of the world I'm a soundmaker I'm a soundmaker Connect the lights. Let the gatekeepers in. They can't make music but we've gotta pretend they're the soundmakers. Put out a song nobody hears again I'm a soundmaker I'm a soundmaker Until the silence defies us again I'm a soundmaker I'm a soundmaker Walk a mile for a heart to serenade No friend of mine will ever turn away a soundmaker. Connect the lights. Let the gatekeepers in. They can't make music but we've gotta pretend they're the soundmakers they're the soundmakers they're the soundmakers they're the soundmakers they're the soundmakers they're the soundmakers.

Infinity Dream He was only 18 when the dream came his way. He saw a pow wow shining in the field he could see. He woke from the dream wondering what spoke to him and wanted to know what the vision would be So he asked his grandmother if she knew anything She said, "You were born Metis and your mother and me." She said, "My green eyes were a dead giveaway. The visions I had of the life I lived free." She asked him to see if the dream was the same. She spoke of the elders and the bagpipes they played. She spoke of the dances, the jigs, and the reels she asked of the ceremony how long they prayed. It turned out his dream and hers were the same. They sat for long and they talked and embraced. The long years not knowing had melted away and the questions of ages with Infinity replaced.

Orleans Is My Home Orleans is my home and Tecopa is where I roam Tucson is where I write Winnipeg still shines bright Bonny Doon is where I tune Victoria smiles like Saskatoon Santa Cruz I dip my toes somewhere sweet I get to go She likes the line from Monterey to Redwood Pine and I like the world not being held down by a girl New Orleans is my home and Tecopa is where I roam.

If You Want Me I'm calling your heartbeat because there's no other way I can go I'm playing the downbeat and I'm thinking there's somebody home. If you want to get worried better stay by his side because when it's time to get cooking he'll be eating outside. If you want me you've got me it ain't too hard to figure it out. You keep calling me up and saying he's bothering you Stand up and walk, girl, but don't tell him the sweet things that I do Because if you tell him about me then he'll put on the charm and everyone knows that's gonna do me some harm If you want me you've got me it ain't too hard to figure it out. I'm lonely - I'm lonely - I'm alone x2 I'm calling your heartbeat calling you back everyday and the way that you're talking it's no shock it's better that way there's a hole in your heart that has got to be filled so do the repairs, baby and send me the bill If you want me you've got me it ain't too hard to figure it out. If you want me you've got me it ain't too hard to figure it out.

You Won't Ever Touch Me Everywhere I look I see you there but you won't ever touch me when we could be easily walking on the air but you won't ever touch me Days go by living in a cloud give our affections in front of a crowd I want to be free I wanna live loud but you won't ever touch me I've done my best I've put love to the test but you won't ever touch me there's too much to reveal if you asked how I feel but you won't ever touch me I've been told it's just the way you are It's a mean old world and we've come so far I'm getting lovin' from an electric guitar but you won't ever touch me I'm not cold I'm not old I'm not sold I believe I'm not long for this world. Don't ask me to remain true when I'm someone you don't want to hold. Is this the anyway to live? When you won't ever touch me If you're with someone you might as well give but you won't ever touch me. There's this unspoken wall standing it's ground. Everywhere I go I see love all around. How long can I come here to this silent playground and you won't ever touch me? I'm not cold I'm not old I'm not sold I believe I'm not long for this world. Don't ask me to remain true when I'm someone you don't want to hold. Everywhere I look I see you there but you won't ever touch me but you won't ever touch me but you won't ever touch me

Last In The Race Where are the dreamers when we need them now? There are no stars just fireballs on the walls I can't believe in yesterday or anything that people say about the light surrounding all the promises. There's no consequence in turning around and telling all the liars to run out of town There's faith in staying clean not being swallowed by machines and if you're last in the race just turn around. (chorus) Just turn around and come in first there ain't nothing to lose by being the worst. You can say it's a game they play. Even if you had your way the way things go you'd still be cursed when you're last in the race turn around and come in first. Even if it seems your breath brings on a fight and people are down on you for doing right When there's no expectations it's a win-win situation show them all you can't be tied down. (chorus)

Words Are Prayers Walking up a hill and finding common will see the sky unfold the law of the wind revolution of the soul revolution of the old the deeds of goodness from outside and within I met a noble man he only spoke of good never heard him cry or try to find the way Pain was in the world he prayed and found a pearl of wisdom floating in the words he'd choose to say (Chorus) Words are prayers words are deeds what you say can bring a change in you and me Words are strong my friend they can make time bend so be aware of all the love you speak to me There's stars in the sky to keep the dark alive mountains there to climb and valleys are for play you need not step outside to find the great divide your perceptions will be filled with light to find the way. (chorus)

I'm Losing Time Nothing ventured nothing gained I'm wasting all my life away just me and my TV friend we make a special blend - oh The sun don't shine and it's too cold get the mail and come back home I feel I'm losing my soul but I'm just getting old (Chorus) I'm losing time and I don't feel so fine and I got to get back on top and try to stop this losing time Think one day I'll get a shot at showing off what I got this old guitar'll get me soon to wearing out my shoes (Chorus)

I'm Gonna Have To Be Strong I'm gonna have to be strong the moon and stars direct me to your eyes every night I'll have to say goodbye to the heartache and shine knowing your smile I'm gonna have to be strong. I'm gonna have to be strong knowing all the changes life can bring the tears in me seeing you leaving the love shining brighter than the sun I'm gonna have to be strong. Nowhere have I found this I've come a million miles I've fought a losing battle and I've walked a million aisles you will find me resting behind all these tears I cry knowing you're so far away but I hold you close inside I have to be strong I have to be strong I have to be strong I have to be strong I have to be strong I have to be strong I have to be strong I'm gonna have to be strong the moon and stars direct me to your eyes every night I'll have to say goodbye to the heartache and shine knowing your smile I'm gonna have to be strong.

I'll Always Be Close To You I've got a reason for every new season you make me glad to see you again dressed for the rain or for a sun shiny day you're making me a happier man. Who else can I call when I want to give all of myself to somebody who cares? As long as you're lonely and going to stay lonely you're always going to be in my heart. (chorus) I'm gonna take another piece of you home No one's gonna take you away and I'll always be close to you x2 If I'm just your lover living under cover maybe we can move in the spring live in the city where you'll always be with me able to do anything Who else can I call when the world is so small and the word is gonna get around? As long as you're lonely and going to stay lonely you're always gonna be in my heart. (chorus)

The Heat Won't Keep Me Down Walking the shores of my life looking for a master plan making no moves I don't want to lose I don't want to understand. I can't take a walk to the dark side I can't take control too long I don't want to dream hurt myself in the scheme because the heat won't keep me down well the heat won't keep me down. I've got a Saturday I've got a broken heart I've got an old Caddy everything is torn apart. I can't take a walk to the dark side Since I can't have you around I can't do the things I want to do because the heat won't keep me down well the heat won't keep me down What am I supposed to do with my dream When am I supposed to live my life What am I supposed to read What am I supposed to teach Anything left to learn from me? I can't take a walk to the dark side I can't take control too long I don't want to dream hurt myself in the scheme because the heat won't keep me down well the heat won't keep me down.
