by Dan Frechette

/
1.
Sunshine For My Soul (Chorus) She's the sunshine for my soul She's the sunshine for my soul Working every day life is on parole Looking for a piece of some sweetheart to know (Chorus) Dying all the day Living ain't been right Something's gotta give and make something of this fight (Chorus) (Bridge) How many more years must we not belong? How many more fears must we string along? How many more tears do we bury in the mud Until the sadness clears, we'll just be running in the flood. (Chorus) I'll give her back someday better than before Living in the now until the civil war (Chorus x2)
2.
A Little Bit Every Day If I could control the raging oceans But I'm just here to watch it fade away There's no end to this dance of emotion I choose when or not to open up my day (Chorus) I can move on but my heart is tied I can laugh but I still got to cry I can live on but I still got to die a little bit every day Memories are all we'll ever have Until these beautiful memories are gone There's grace that will smile on your behalf The truth still lingers from a forgotten song (Chorus) (Bridge) When the world's are colliding And we're done with materializing and the precious among us are no more do we have to return to the shore? (Chorus)
3.
Don't Let The Future Be The Past You can drive so far No one cares who you are Months and months go rolling by when no rain falls from the sky Try to go where it pays so you don't look back at the good old days Try to find something that last Don't let the future be the past Kept three things to take me far A guitar, laptop and a car Wrote off the vampires of my soul Burned some pants that felt too old Got some cash and hit the west There's souls I want to know the best Anything I've got is sure to last Don't let the future be the past (Bridge) When changes come the strongest grow You'll cry tears of gold for show Don't let the unknown get you down Just take a walk and look around (Solo) You can drive so far No one cares who you are Months and months go rolling by no rain falling from the sky Try to go where it pays so you don't look back at the good old days Try to find something that last Don't let the future be the past
4.
Kicking The Odds Is there a place we could take ourselves See the confusion and go under it's spell? Taking our chances taking our time You're gonna keep looking never guess what you'll find There's no reason to be reasoning here There's no reason to be here at all If there were a way man what way would it be To let things go so easily? (Chorus) Gonna let the facts stand the way they are Gonna let the madmen carry around his gun Gonna let you run my world a little while But I warn you It's a hard job kicking the odds around It's a hard job kicking the odds around We've taken our chances taken our time Nothing's forgotten because it's all in my mind We found our place and who would have known we'd go back on the very face of the world with no time left to live away There's no reason to be reasoning here There's no reason to be here at all If there were a way man what way would it be To let things go so easily? (Chorus)
5.
Something Near Delight I wear my name on her door with pride And she knows just when I'll arrive Speaking in echoes about something near delight Quiet kisses and louder serenades Hourglasses bleeding the time away on just another New Year holiday Lovers covered in adult desire She turns on the lights and I turn on her fire Speaking in echoes about something near delight
6.
The Cocoon Of Pain And Dreams I still don't know what went wrong but love is like a song and there's no chord we can't play Gotta get together work it out even if we stand to shout there's some luck that we'll find a way There's a frightened girl inside to take the ride and not hide what it's all about There's an insecure man again and he needs a friend and an end to never ending doubt I'd like to feel on an even keel and never mind the deal of the way things came to play We made mistakes because it felt so real at least we could be real and there's no place I would rather stay There's times I wonder what the meaning is to always live in the cocoon of pain and dreams? You're the reason for the heart getting stirred make me sing like a bird and dance like a cat in an LED beam
7.
Love Is Standing Now He was trying to calm her bring her to heaven make her dream of hearts made for two Somehow along the way she felt the game she played was nothing but a game she thought she knew So they broke up and made up broke up and made up so many times her heart was left scarred Now they must wait for love's pearly gates but waiting for love is getting hard (Chorus) But if love could stand the test of time The love is standing now But if love could stand the test of time The love is standing now He was trying to teach her to learn from intentions stay away from dreams that were impure She thought he used her once upon a cold night and her good feelings could not endure So she broke off and left him and murdered her good will in time he came sniffling around again Realized they dreamed the same kind of dreams heaven had sent both of them (Chorus)
8.
Right Until The End I'll be right there for you my friend Right until the end Of this life I'll be right there Everybody loves you everyone's praying for you We'll all be there right until the end Because the end is just the beginning No matter how far you go Everything is winning Even though the pain it don't seem to show Just know that we're with you right until the end You can't back out my friend Keep on fighting until the end We'll be there right next to you praying for you cheering you on There's nights when you can't sleep Know that we're praying for you deep when you are in pain just know we are there with you until the end Satisfied to know pain in comes pain it goes these times are the hard times but they don't ever have to show through the good times that we remember and know we think about every time we are down we know that we'll be there with you right until the end Through the pain and the struggle right until the end.

The Road To Where I Belong I still long for your kiss even when like this When the world ain't so small and I'm never there at all In your arms so far along the road to where I belong Made you a promise I'll never retreat the higher you hope for it's up my street We'll live this story forevermore The world beside us behind these doors in your arms so far along The road to where I belong We run circles around the rules do we what we love with our tools ones we win with burn down the bridge between sadness and heaven cowards and courage in your arms so far along this road to where I belong
