wound up coming through this circus for a reason

She told me once she loved me and I tried to love her madly in return.
For many years nothing changed she kept with me even when I was burnt

Took a room alone downtown and now I seem to have nothing but time.

After all this freeze out I wonder where she's gonna be tomorrow
will she be standing in the rain wondering where did all the sunny days go
