The Young Sweet Disgrace

All messed up and nowhere to go
the man with mask said "bring me back home"
to the driver who hibernated his heart
he drove home the young sweet disgrace

Somebody told him why he was alone
they soon understood why he hid in a hood
but the scandals he caused with his drunk dirty paws
pulled at his heart 'til he broke

the wife was so sweet she had sex on her mind
the young sweet disgrace drank his last shot of rye
and drunk as a scum he soon became one
and was caught by the men in the town

the girl was so smart she kept her guilt to herself
her husband was called and he was appalled
but he knew her too well and he soon blew his cool
and was off on a rampage alone

The young sweet disgrace was barred from the church
his mother heard and she found him absurd
he couldn't go home so he drank on his own
to forget that his life was destroyed

he called her one night from a blasted old pub
the mother who answered heard an outcry of love
but she soon packed her things to go live with sister Rose
knowing he was coming home

All messed up and nowhere to go
the man with mask said "bring me back home"
to the driver who hibernated his heart
he drove home the young sweet disgrace
